Wine of Freedom is the Japaridze family’s natural winery in Khidistavi, a village in Shida Kartli near the town of Gori. We work with the grapes of Kartli — Goruli Mtsvane, Shavkapito and Saperavi — and let them speak with as little intervention as possible.
The winery is led by Tsotne Japaridze, founder and CEO of Traffic Travel. That is why a visit here comes easily: our team can bring you from Tbilisi to the cellar door, through one of Kartli’s most beautiful gorges on the way.
Our wines have been poured at the Supernatural Wine Fest in Tbilisi and Batumi and the Festival of Sparkling Wine, and our Pet-Nats are available at 8000 Vintages.

Pétillant naturel is the oldest way of making sparkling wine. The wine is bottled before the first fermentation is finished, so the natural bubbles are trapped in the bottle. The result is fresh, lightly sparkling and often slightly cloudy.
